About

Learn who Off to the Motorsport is for, how Does Your Duck Quack researches the guides, how accommodation links work and how to send a correction.

Plan the trip around the racing

Off to the Motorsport helps people travelling from the UK plan the full live-event weekend: admission, the main journey, somewhere sensible to stay, the final circuit transfer and the food bill. We cover all 24 Formula 1 races on the announced 2027 calendar, UK motorsport events and nine British circuits, with a separate section for bigger trips abroad such as Le Mans.

The site is operated by Does Your Duck Quack, 5 South Charlotte Street, Edinburgh, EH2 4AN. For corrections and enquiries, email webmaster@offtothemotorsport.co.uk. The operator’s website is Does Your Duck Quack.

Who these guides are for

Start here if you want a useful seat and a manageable trip rather than a ticket price detached from everything around it. Our F1 guides consider UK regional departures, time differences, base towns and the journey home. The domestic guides distinguish ordinary circuit access from the arrangements for a large meeting, festival or public-road race.

Mixed groups matter too. Each destination guide includes ideas for the non-fan, while family and accessibility sections encourage people to choose a route and viewing place that work for their actual needs. The practical guides bring together the decisions that repeat across trips: camping, car-free travel, packing, children, paddocks and riding to the event.

How the pages are researched

We research each page from the sources linked on it, using AI tools to help draft and organise, and check facts against those sources before publishing. Organiser, circuit, transport-operator and government sources take priority for dates, rules and access. Recommendations and rankings are the site’s editorial opinion. We do not claim attendance at every event or personal testing of every journey.

Weekend budgets are estimates with their assumptions shown. Use them to compare approaches, then replace each line with the actual payable price for your dates. An extra arrival night, vehicle ferry space or a different admission product changes the total. Practical booking notes highlight decisions that depend on the final event instructions.

Funding and independence

Accommodation links may earn a commission from qualifying bookings. That supports the site without giving us control over hotel prices or availability. Our affiliate disclosure explains how the links work and who handles the booking. Reservations and payments take place with external providers.

This is an independent guide, not affiliated with Formula 1, MotoGP, circuits, championships or event organisers. Event names identify the subject; no official logo or endorsement is implied. The racing duck and gravel-trap cartoon are AI-generated illustrations. Circuit banners and schematic track graphics are original designed illustrations. No image presents an invented visit or a real person’s likeness.

Help keep the advice useful

If an organiser publishes a change, use the corrections page to send the page address and supporting source. For a website barrier, read the accessibility statement and describe the task you could not complete. Choose a starting point in Formula 1, UK Motorsport or the practical guides.
